We are a Christ-Centered, Bible Oriented, and ethnically diverse, inner-city congregation. We are a house of prayer for all people (Isaiah 56:7). This congregation was organized in 1882. We are STILL excited about what the LORD is doing in us, among us, and all around us today. These are dark and trying times but His light, His Way is still brighter than ever and the path is lit just for you. Our Lord inspired the apostle Paul to say:
“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed but not in despair; Persecuted, but not abandoned; cast down, but not destroyed… While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 17-18).
God and His Word is from everlasting to everlasting. Come (or Watch online at dabc.org) and visit with us this Sunday at 11:00AM for Worship Service or Wednesday evening at 6:30PM for Bible Study. Come and learn more about God, The Great Amen, because He is faithful!

There are also many elders and several deacons who are able to pray with you and direct you to resources here at our church, in literature, or out in the community to offer you encouragement, minister to you, or help you find a deeper understanding of the bible in your own study.
There will also be a nurse on duty during service to assist you as needed.
Like cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a distant land. [Proverbs 25.25, NIV]

I apologize for the delay, I didn’t notice this because we usually get comments on our facebook account. However, we wanted to be of some assistance to you. I believe that our current location wasn’t erected until 1895. However, a member was able to dig up a database of collected and scanned documents from Buffalo State college:
https://digitalcommons.buffalostate.edu/dabc_books/9/
Also, the City of Buffalo should be able to make those records available to you.
I have a question concerning a marriage of my wife’s great, great grand parents, Charlotte Palmer and Louis Lawrence de Arnold who were wed on September 21, 1884 from Charlotte’s residence at 163 College Street in Buffalo. They were married by Rev. Reuben E. Burton of the Delaware Avenue Baptist Church on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo. Would you have any information concerning this marriage?
Also Charlotte’s son from a previous marriage was also married by Rev. Reuben E. Burton. This would have been Ralph Palmer being married to Mary A. Paget on June 24, 1889. Would you have any information concerning this marriage as well?
I would appreciate any help you could give me.
As one Baptist to another (attend at the First Baptist Church of Hamburg, N.Y.), keep looking up!
