1. WOMEN of FAITH MINISTRY at DABC (Currently Active)
This ministry meets monthly for bible study/program planning with coffee and a light breakfast. They often work with the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast for community outreach programs or events. If you know anyone who may be interested in attending, please share the news. Thank you.
2. Music Ministry (Currently Active)
This July 2024 The Praise & Worship Choir and Youthful Praise Choir will meet on Wednesdays from 6:30PM-7:30PM in the Sanctuary.
3. Delaware Avenue Baptist Health Fair (Currently Inactive)
The church hosts this event biennially but, has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. Next event TBA. Free flu shots, Cholesterol & Glucose Testing, Diabetes, Cardiovascular, Kidney Disease, and Blood Pressure screenings, Breast Cancer & Testicular Cancer Screening, and in previous years there were Presentations from MAN UP, ECDOH, LA FITNESS, how to do CPR in the Fellowship Hall. The Health Fair will take place in the Fall 2018.
4. National Youth & Children’s Sunday (Currently Active)
Every year our church provides our young people with the opportunity take many of the responsibilities of the Worship Service. The youth and parents work with advisors to explain the ministry they’ll serve (Ushers board, music ministry, prayer leader, worship leader, scripture reading, welcome, announcements, etc.), nearly everything but, the Sermon which is left in the hands of our Youth Pastor or Guest Pastor. It always takes place in June. If you would like to participate please speak to Pastor Lipscomb.
