ADVENT MEANS COMING OR COME INTO FROM THE LATIN WORD ADVENTUS.

This Sunday, November 27, 2022 our season of expectation began.

DABC observes this time because we recognize the importance of intentional, purposeful, revitalizing worship.

We all need to set our minds to focus on God, on Christ – Our Savior, even as the world encourages the bustle of holiday shopping, the divisive and dispiriting power of consumerism, as well as the destructive, wide spreading, invasive canker of Christianity without Christ and religion without the Holy Spirit (which William Booth once described as a few of the chief dangers of the 20th century).

The Immutable God doesn’t not change, does not fail, and cannot be altered even if pastors across the globe decide to follow and imitate the world rather than being imitators of Christ as God’s Word instructs us to be.

The Apostle Paul once wrote “Let God be True but, every man a liar” (Romans 3:4). You can trust in the LORD and His guidance will never put you to the shame. Let Him be glorified.

Set aside some time in your day, each day to rejoice not only in your personal salvation, (though it is a glorious and miraculous salvation) but also rejoice in your Blessed Savior WHO IS HIMSELF Glorious; WHO IS the miracle that brought you into reconciliation with God and WHO IS AND WILL CONTINUALLY help mend the broken places inside of you through ALL Circumstances!
